Compass Pro - Level & Detector ("the App") is developed by Ashwin Sharma. This policy describes how the App handles your data.

Data Collection

The App does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to external servers. All data stays on your device.

Sensors & Permissions

The App uses the following device capabilities:

• Magnetometer (compass sensor) — to display compass heading and magnetic field strength. Data is processed locally and never transmitted.
• Accelerometer — to provide the bubble level feature. Data is processed locally and never transmitted.
• Location (GPS) — to display your current coordinates, altitude, speed, and to calculate sun position and geocache bearing/distance. Location data is processed on-device only and is never sent to any server.

Local Storage

The App stores user preferences (theme choice, haptics setting, onboarding status) locally on your device using shared preferences. This data is never transmitted externally.

Third-Party Services

The App does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. The App uses the device's geocoding service to resolve your coordinates into a human-readable address — this is handled by the operating system and is subject to Google's privacy policy.

Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
